For me, stepping onto the mat is always a journey home. Yoga is more than a physical practice – it’s a way of living that invites us to live with more presence and greater ease.
With a background in dance, I’ve always found joy in movement. Yet it was yoga that taught me to truly listen in and to feel – to move with awareness, to reconnect with my breath, and to honour both strength and softness.
After more than a decade in the corporate world in London and later in renewable energy in Cape Town, I was fortunate to found House of Yoga in 2018 as an urban sanctuary where people from all walks of life can explore the practice.
I completed my 200-hour Teacher Training with the Marianne Wells Yoga School and my 300-hour Advanced Training with The Shala. With over 20 years of personal practice, I love to interweave the wisdom of the various styles of yoga I have explored (including Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Scaravelli, Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative yoga) in my classes.
I’m passionate about sharing yoga as a set of practical tools – to cultivate presence, meet life’s challenges with steadiness, and nurture a compassionate relationship with oneself.
