Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy
Acceptance
Upon receiving an acceptance email, the applicant will be charged a deposit of ZAR 5,000. The deposit must be settled to reserve the applicant’s spot on the programme. Final invoices will be emailed 4 weeks before the start date of training. The deadline to pay in full is 2 weeks prior to the start date of training.
Refunds
Please note there is a non-refundable R1,200 administration fee for teacher training programme applications.
Upon payment and confirmation of your place:
- If you cancel more than 30 days from the start date, you will be entitled to a 75% refund of the course fee.
- If cancellation is 14 – 30 days from the start date, you will be entitled to a 50% refund of the course fee.
- If cancellation is less than 14 days from the start date, you will be entitled to a 25% refund of the course fee.

The programme will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. The programme reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins, or to merge the full-time and part-time options, for example should the minimum number of students not be met. In the event a training has been cancelled by the programme, any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.
Payments from outside of South Africa
- Fees paid to House of Yoga from outside of South Africa must reflect the full ZAR amount once cleared.
- House of Yoga is not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations, bank charges or service fees.
- Any refunded fees will be made in the original ZAR amount and may vary from the amount paid in another currency after exchange rate fluctuations, bank charges or service fees.
