New Beginnings – A Spring Retreat

A spring weekend retreat for fresh intentions, meditation, yoga and you

Spring is the season of rebirth and renewal. It’s the perfect season to reset and leave behind old patterns, to make space for new possibilities and growth.

The busy-ness, noise and overwhelm of life can so easily drown out our inner voice – a voice that speaks with authenticity, clarity, and wisdom, if we only make the time and space to listen and hear what it has to tell us. We also know that joyful actions and creations begin with the heart-felt intentions of this inner voice.

As we close out the year, this retreat will create the space for you to tune into your authentic feelings around what fills you with joy. You can use this time to gently let go of anything that needs to be put to rest, and in so doing create space for more of the things that bring you peace and fulfilment as you move forward.

This nurturing spring weekend retreat is for anyone looking to reconnect to that deep reservoir of peacefulness and serenity that exists within each of us. Through connection with the heart and inner voice, we can plant and cultivate our truest intentions to lead us to our most joyful new beginnings in the year ahead.

About your hosts:

Leigh is a 500hr qualified yoga teacher and the proud founder of House of Yoga in Cape Town, which she opened after 13 years in the corporate world. She has practiced yoga for 18 years and has explored various styles of yoga (including Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Scaravelli and Ashtanga) and is privileged to be able to share with others what conscious movement, breath work, meditation and yoga nidra have gifted her: being comfortable and at home in the body and with oneself; to re-access the intelligence centres of the body to balance out overstimulation of the mind and incessant thought; and to take responsibility for one’s overall well being. For Leigh, every time we step onto our mats, we begin a journey – a journey home to ourselves. Yoga is about celebrating the adventure of life, being human, our uniqueness, but also our connection to all things.

Vicky is the founder of The Inner Alchemist – a community for people to restore their self esteem and find flow within their daily lives. She is a certified life coach focused on helping people to rediscover slowing down and self care, to make more aligned choices for their lives. Vicky will guide you gently to boost and protect your mental health, to move away from burn out culture and to restore balance into your life. After a decade in the demanding world of advertising, Vicky understands the effects that stress and striving can have on mental health. Her philosophies are founded on the principle that all solutions lie within, and through redirecting your awareness back to yourself, you are able to restore well-being into your body, heart and mind.

What some of our previous guests have said about our retreats:

“This is the second House of Yoga retreat I have attended and both of them exceeded all my expectations. Deeply relaxing atmosphere in which to explore your self and deepen awareness, ultimately for a better understanding of how to approach my journey in life.”

“A relaxing experience to reconnect with my true self and connect with like-minded people.”

“Vicky and Leigh facilitated a spiritual breakthrough for me. The after effects are allowing me to lay some very big ghosts to rest.”

“Replenishing and restful weekend with like minded people, so needed to re-energize for the rest of the year.”

“Leigh and Vicky created the perfect space to connect to other like minded individuals, and to myself, in the most profound way. I’m immensely grateful to have been able to invest in my own well-being by attending this retreat, and I’d recommend anyone do the same!”

“Een van my memories wat ek vir altyd sal koester.”
